Angel grew up as a US Air Force ‘brat’, traveling with his family as a youngster, before joining the Air Force himself.  For nearly 27 years, Angel served as a C-130 pilot and Foreign Area Officer, visiting over 70 countries. He’s passionate about travel and relishes experiencing the world through the eyes of others.  

Angel and his wife Shahnte have lived abroad for over eight years and have visited dozens of countries together, conducting excursions that some only dream of:  dog sledding in Finland, snorkeling in the Maldives, riding Arabian horses in Egypt, attending cooking school in Italy, rum tasting in Barbados, visiting Star Wars filming locations in Iceland, and visiting World War II historical sites across Belgium and the Netherlands.  Many travels even included their Yorkie pups!  Additionally, Angel has mastered credit card and loyalty reward utilization, allowing him to enjoy travels all the more while maximizing all possible benefits.
