Club Med St. Croix: A New All-Inclusive Resort Coming to the U.S. Virgin Islands

Beautiful St Croix

If you're looking for a Caribbean getaway that's a little different from the usual all-inclusive destinations, there's something new on the horizon!

Club Med is coming to St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands! Scheduled to open in late 2027, Club Med St. Croix will offer a new all-inclusive resort option on one of the Caribbean's quieter, less crowded islands. And here's an added bonus for U.S. citizens—no passport required!

A Familiar Resort with a New Look

Club Med St. Croix will be located at the former Carambola Beach Resort, a beautiful property tucked between lush tropical hills and a protected stretch of coastline.

The property will be getting a fresh new look as part of Club Med's Exclusive Collection with updated accommodations and plenty of amenities while still keeping the natural beauty and charm that make St. Croix special. This Club Med will be an all-suite resort, and every suite will overlook the sea!

Guests will be able to enjoy meals, drinks (including cocktails, beer, and wine), sports and wellness activities, and plenty of opportunities to experience the local culture—all included in their stay.

The resort will welcome adults and families with children ages 12 and older.

Why St. Croix?

St. Croix is the largest of the U.S. Virgin Islands, but it has a different feel from some of the Caribbean's busier destinations.

Known for its beautiful beaches, lush green hills, and colorful historic towns, St. Croix offers plenty of opportunities to relax or get out and explore.

The island is especially popular for snorkeling and diving with beautiful coral reefs and nearby Buck Island Reef National Monument. You may also choose to spend some time exploring Christiansted with its colorful historic buildings, charming shops, and local restaurants.

It's a wonderful destination for travelers who enjoy beautiful beaches but also want to experience a little more of the island beyond their resort.

All-Inclusive Convenience Without a Passport

One of the biggest advantages of St. Croix for American travelers is that U.S. citizens don't need a passport to visit when traveling directly from the United States or another U.S. territory. Since we don’t have many all inclusive resorts in the US, this promises to be a great option!

Combine convenience with Club Med's all-inclusive approach, and this could be an appealing option for couples, families with older children, multi-gen trips, or friends traveling together.

With meals, activities, and plenty of opportunities to relax included in the resort experience, it's an easy way to enjoy the Caribbean without having to plan every detail.

A New Caribbean Option Worth Watching

We’re always excited to see new resort options, especially in destinations that offer something a little different. Club Med St. Croix looks like a great addition to the Caribbean all-inclusive market, and we’re looking forward to learning more as the opening approaches. Bookings for Club Med St. Croix open November 5!
