It’s a (not so) Spooky fall tradition for fans of the magic… it’s the return of Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!!
Disney has just released the dates for the party, along with many of the details of what to expect!
If you aren’t sure what Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is, it’s a separately ticketed event at the Magic Kingdom happening select nights starting August 7th and running through October 31 - tickets go on sale starting May 5th for those with stays at most Disney World hotels, and then May 12th for everyone else.
Some of the highlights of the party this year include:
A MASQUERADE WITH STITCH! Join Stitch, Lilo and Angel at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland - Stitch will be holding a masquerade. He digs into Lilo’s Costume Trunk, trying various accessories and costumes all night
ATTRACTION THEMING! Experience Space Mountain in total darkness with spooky tunes blasting. The Mad Tea Party will have special lighting while you spin. And candies available at Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor will make the sweet night just a bit sweeter.
SPECIALTY SIPS & BITES! Lots of Halloween party-exclusive snacks and drinks, like the Minnie Witch Hat at Cosmic Ray’s, the Bowl of Bones at Friar’s Nook and Buzzard Wings at Pecos Bills, and so much more!
YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS! Meet Jack & Sally is one of the most popular meet-and-greet opportunities every year, but you’ll also find Mickey and Minnie in their costumes at Town Square Theater, Pooh will be seen in his bumblebee costume, and you may spot festive royal couples ready to say hello, like Ariel and Eric and Aladdin and Jasmine.
TRICK OR TREATING! Over a dozen spots are marked for collecting candy throughout the park. And this year, guests can expect even more fun than ever before with some familiar (and fiendish) faces surprising guests along the trails. At each stop, cast members give out handfuls of favorites like M&Ms, Snickers and Starburst. Forget your candy bucket? No worries! Everyone will receive complimentary treat bags for candy collection. And while costumes are encouraged, you don’t have to be dressed up for the season to Trick-or-Treat! (guests must follow official costume guidelines)
PARADES & FIREWORKS! Mickey, Minnie, and friends return in the Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade! Taking place nightly at 815p (times subject to change) this fun parade features waltzing ghosts, Disney Princesses and treacherous villains. Then a little later in the night, Jack Skellington directs dazzling projections that transform the castle into a spooky fantasy while the sky comes alive with fireworks. Get ready for towering encounters with Ursula, The Queen of Hearts, and Oogie Boogie.
Plus the Hocus Pocus Spelltacular Stage Show returns! The Cadaver Dans will be dancing through the streets once more! And all the exclusive merch will be available just for the party nights!
