Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has an exciting expansion that’s currently underway! Disney Parks, Experiences and Consumer Products Chairman Bob Chapek unveiled more about the reimagining, including the name of the new 15-story centerpiece of the resort, the Gran Destino Tower!

The tower, which will be completed in July 2019, will serve as the new main entrance point for Guests visiting the resort, and will add a total of 545 new Guest rooms (including 50 suites) to the resort, as well as feature a gorgeous two-story lobby. A themed table-service restaurant is also planned for the top of Gran Destino Tower, which will serve up delicious food and incredible views of the Walt Disney World® Resort.

An oasis set on the shore of Lago Dorado, the reimagined Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort celebrates the daring spirit of the great Spanish explorers, artists, writers and architects. Throughout the resort, Guests will discover a blend of classic Spanish influences, imaginative Disney touches and modern comforts both inside and out. The resort’s more than 1,800 existing rooms have also been fully updated with new fixtures, furnishings and lighting. A second new restaurant is planned to open on an island in the middle of the resort’s 14-acre lake, Lago Dorado, with new walkways stretching across the water, making it convenient no matter where guests stay at the resort. And a fresh color palette will tie the entire resort experience together, blending the new and the newly reimagined.

Gingerbread Pop – It’s SO CUTE and one of many favorite holiday snacks, the Gingerbread Pop comes on a stick for easy on-the-go deliciousness and is dipped in chocolate. Your can find it at Anaheim Produce, the Churro Cart in front of the Chinese Theater, and the Main Entrance Coffee Cart.

Festive Popcorn – This treat features caramel corn mixed with nuts, crispy pearls, candy-coated chocolates, and mini sugar cookies. Find it at BaseLine Tap House and various popcorn carts throughout the park.

Santa Belt Macarons – Ho ho ho! Have a Santa Macaron! These almond macarons with hazelnut filling have climbed down the chimneys at BaseLine Tap House and Oasis Canteen and come in packages of five.

Disney Cruise to Sail from New Orleans in 2020! Plus Returning to Hawaii!

Canadian Rockies Winter Adventure!

DAY 1 ARRIVE IN VANCOUVER

Welcome to Vancouver! At 6 pm, meet your traveling companions for a welcome drink. Your Tour Director will prepare you for your upcoming adventure.

DAY 2 VANCOUVER–VIA RAIL, THE CANADIAN

This morning, tour Vancouver, including the waterfront, Chinatown, and Stanley Park with its old-growth evergreen forests and totem poles. Enjoy free time to explore this vibrant city on your own before dinner at a local restaurant. Then transfer to the train station for your departure on the CANADIAN. See Canada's pristine landscape of frozen lakes, snowcapped mountains, and beautiful blue skies. Keep your eyes open for wildlife such as moose, elk, and eagles. Spend the day in comfort on the train, with delicious meals and spectacular views from the dome car. 

NOTE: On VIA Rail, beds in your private cabin are open by day in arm chair style. By night, beds are converted to upper and lower bunkbed style arrangement. Guests must be able to climb a ladder in order to reach upper bed.

DAY 3 VIA RAIL, THE CANADIAN–JASPER

Wake up this morning to the beautiful scenery of the Canadian Rockies. Arrive in Jasper, for sightseeing followed by free time to explore the charming mountain village. Then, onto the historic Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, where you will spend the next two nights, for a culinary demonstration and lunch.

DAY 4 JASPER

A day to explore all the wonders of JASPER NATIONAL PARK. Enjoy your choice of activities this afternoon: take an ICE WALK through Maligne Canyon or a guided WILDLIFE SAFARI. During your free time, you may want to go cross-country skiing, try snowshoeing, or browse the shops in downtown Jasper. Indoors, you can choose from spa treatments, gourmet dining, or just relaxing by the fire with a warm drink.

DAY 5 JASPER–LAKE LOUISE

Today, we travel to the beautiful shores of Lake Louise and the majestic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Enjoy this winter wonderland on a  HORSE-DRAWN SLEIGH RIDE. Take in the fresh air and marvel at the incredible mountain scenery with blankets to keep you warm and comfortable. Other winter activities available include dogsledding, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, or ice-skating.

DAY 6 LAKE LOUISE–BANFF

This morning is at leisure to relax and recharge or explore the elegant alpine paradise. Later, travel to BANFF NATIONAL PARK, where sightseeing includes a visit to Bow Falls. The remainder of the day is yours to explore on your own. Your Tour Director will have suggestions for additional sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Your home for the next two nights is the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. 

SPECIAL FEATURE: Built in 1888, the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was the largest hotel in the world at the time and also marked the beginning of tourism in the Canadian Rockies. Styled after a Scottish Baronial castle, the hotel is known as the “Castle of the Rockies.”

Spend a full free day to explore Banff on your own. You may wish to stroll Banff Avenue visiting shops and galleries, partake in Afternoon Tea at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, or learn the Canadian sport of curling. Other options include visiting one of the town’s museums, taking a soak in the natural hot springs, enjoying a massage, or striking up a conversation with a local at one of the town’s coffee shops. Tonight, your Tour Director hosts drinks by the fire, followed by a festive farewell dinner, the perfect ending to your Canadian Rockies winter adventure.

Kick start your day by joining the toys in Andy’s Backyard in Toy Story Land!
With this limited-entry, first-access experience you can maximize your time at Disney’s
Hollywood Studios.

When you purchase the special Disney Early Morning Magic experience and your regular theme
park admission, you can be among the first to enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the day and
ride the popular Toy Story Land attractions with little wait times. You will also have the
opportunity to meet Buzz, Woody, and Jessie.

Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast buffet with yogurt, fruit, pastries, and assorted cereals
as well as your choice of a main dish like avocado toast or fried chicken served with a tasty
cronut. Breakfast will be set up at a select quick-service dining location outside of Toy Story
Land.

This Exclusive Disney Early Morning Magic access to Toy Story Land takes place on select
Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 AM to 8:45am and breakfast will be available until
10:00AM
